We know that navigating the Dutch healthcare system can be confusing at times; more so if you're an international living in The Netherlands. Come to the Health Fair and meet local health professionals. Ask your questions about their services, resources, referrals, and health tips. It will be a relaxed, open event during which you can get more acquainted with the Dutch health care system.

Where will the Health Fair take place?
The Health Fair will take place at Het Noorddamcentrum in Bovenkerk.

When is the Health Fair?
Saturday 1 November is the day!
The Health Fair starts at 13:00 (1:00pm) and wraps up promptly at 16:00 (4:00pm).
I've not been to Het Noorddamcentrum, tell me more!
Het Noorddamcentrum is both a community meeting space and a place for private parties, business meetings, and community events. Noorddamcentrum has a spacious yet cosy entrance/café area with tables and chairs for conversation and connecting. In the main hall (Poelzaal), health care providers and Healthy Here NL will be ready to greet you at their tables with conversation, information, and demonstrations. Het Noorddamcentrum is well designed with coat racks, accessible bathroom facilities, and a bar.
Will there be any food or drink options during the Health Fair?
The café/bar at Het Noorddamcentrum will be open during the Health Fair. Fancy a cup of coffee or mug of tea? Dat kan! At the Noorddamcentrum bar you can purchase a cup of coffee, tea, or other beverage.
What is the best way to get to the Health Fair?
By bike, natuurlijk! There are bike racks for bike parking on the side of and in front of Noorddamcentrum.
If I come by car, where can I park?
In the Bovenkerk neighborhood there are no parking permits or parking fees. It is possible to park for free on the streets around Noorddamcentrum. There is additional parking available a short walk from Noorddamcentrum in the free parking lot on Noorddammerlaan, next to the Silversant Restaurant.
**Caution: Cars cannot drive around the curve on Noorddammerlaan; the road is only open for buses past a certain point. There is a blockade for cars, only buses can drive on the street at St Urbanuskerk van Bovenkerk. Carefully plan your route to parking and Noorddamcentrum.
Is it possible to get there by public transportation?
Yes! Bus 171 travels along Legmeerdijk / Noorddammerlaan. The two bus stops closest to Het Noorddamcentrum are Zwarte Pad and Pastoor Brouwerslaan.
Is there anything to do with kids in the immediate area?
There is a community playground just a short walk behind Noorddamcentrum. Additionally, there are loads of walking trails around De Poel and an entrance to the Amsterdamse Bos is just across the street from the Silversant Restaurant.
